Dear Paddy,
I read your message out to my dad who was a market porter right up to the time it moved to Nine Elms and after..He's 96 now so is the font of all knowledge re CG..He says the only Butler he remembers was an Alec Butler who was an "outside" porter when my dad worked at Barney Springers...Not much help I'm afraid.As he says so many who may know more are all dead now.
