George Flack was my grandfather. He was a porter in the old Covent Garden Market up until he retired but still walked down to the market every morning until he died in 1968, ad he only lived in Great Ormond Street. WC1. He also taught young men boxing at the Gainsford Club and I believe the police there. I would like to find out if anyone can give me any information about his days at the club and his connection with Covent Garden and the boxing world.
