A critical book on Heritage

I am writing a book on Heritage and refer to the activism of the Covent Garden residents in the 1970's - it would be helpful to be able to reproduce one or two images from the protests - posters or diagrams if pictures of people is not possible - as I hold up this collective action as an important cultural moment. Can you tell me if there are copyright issues with the images, and if it would be possible to agree on reproduction in the book?
